Sumeet Vyas, who has got his major Bollywood break with Veere Di Wedding, where he is paired opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan, has to thank producer Rhea Kapoor for it. A source says that when the casting was underway, the production team was considering many other names for the role, but Rhea strongly recommended Sumeet. “She wanted somebody who has never been paired with Kareena. She had seen Sumeet in his digital shows, especially Permanent Roommates and was impressed. It was she who wanted him on board and stuck with her decision.”
