We at DNA on Monday morning broke the news that Shah Rukh Khan is no longer a part of Rakesh Sharma biopic, titled Saare Jahaan Se Accha, despite the schedule of the film being shot beforehand. The reason for this same was never revealed but it does appear that Don 3 might be on the cards, and Shah Rukh wants to give that movie preference over this one.

Post that phase, reports suggest that Shah Rukh now wants to work in movies where his fans have loved seeing him and the best bet for that currently is Don 3.
Farhan Akhtar had announced that Don 3 is in the pipeline long back and recently at the Gully Boy trailer launch too, the actor-filmmaker once again reminded people that a ‘special announcement’ is on its way. This made them divided between deciding if it meant he is making his relationship with Shibani Dandekar official through a wedding invitation or that he would reveal the cast of Don 3.
Shah Rukh has played and been loved as the ‘Don’ in Farhan’s previous installments of the franchise but due to various reasons, other celeb names, including Ranveer Singh’s name, made headlines as the replaced lead actor in Don 3. However, can Shah Rukh really be replaced? The superstar, if reports are to be believed, came into action and might have quit Saare Jahaan Se Accha, which was passed on by his dear friend Aamir Khan, just so he could be part of Don 3. An official announcement on the same is awaited.
