Did John Abraham indirectly confirm 'Pathan' with Shah Rukh Khan?

John Abraham might have given his fans a confirmation about an exciting line-up - 'Pathan'. It was recently reported that the actor might play an antagonist in the YRF film which is likely to be announced on Yash Chopra's birthday, along with other lineup of films from the production house.

Before John, Shah Rukh Khan's name was linked to the project. It is now being rumoured that John will be fighting Shah Rukh in the big-budget project which could be directed by Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff's 'WAR' helmer Siddharth Anand.

John Abraham liked the tweet where his fan account mentioned #Pathan is also one of his upcoming movies. Signed, Sealed and Confirmed by the man himself.

Latest reports also stated that Deepika Padukone is joining the team of 'Pathan' as the second lead. If she does come on board, Deepika would collaborated with John after seven years (Race 2) and Shah Rukh Khan after six years (Happy New Year).

'Pathan' is expected to go on floors in November, once the COVID-19 situation eases out. The makers have been trying to get a late 2021 release for the film.
