A video from the recently concluded MET Gala 2019 has surfaced online. It shows Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone tripping on her voluminous Barbie gown while sipping on some wine in a hotel lobby. Thankfully, she finds a wall to lean on and avoids what-could-have-been an embarassing fall.

At the MET Gala pink carpet, Deepika was seen in a multi layered 3D printed ball gown, in sync with this year's theme Camp: Notes on Fashion.
Vogue India shared a video showcasing Deepika’s dress trial and posted on Instagram, “ ‘It’s not a dress, it’s like art,' @deepikapadukone noted of the many-layered confection on Sunday at @zacposen’s studio, just 24 hours before the #MetGala—and the first time she saw the dress in real life."
This was Deepika's third outing at the prestigious fashion event. She made her debut at the gala in 2017 in a Tommy Hilfiger white slip-dress. Last year, she wore a red Prabal Gurung gown to the event. In DP's own words, the Zac Posen number was her most 'adventurous' fashion outing, till date.
