Jackie (who after a decade in Bollywood) is yet to master Hindi, chose to respond to the queries in English and that too, with an accent.
When in Rome, do as the Romans do’ goes the old adage. However, it looks like Jacqueline Fernandez doesn’t believe in such sayings. At the launch of the Race 3 trailer, during the interaction with the media, most of the questions posed to the actress, were in Hindi.
However, Jackie (who after a decade in Bollywood) is yet to master Hindi, chose to respond to the queries in English and that too, with an accent. So much so that even the film’s leading man Salman Khan teased her about it, when he quipped, “Sawaal Hindi mein puchcha hai.”
Isn’t it time Jacqueline learnt to speak in Hindi? Even Katrina Kaif, who is the other successful import, speaks some Hindi now.
The film has been directed by Remo D'Souza. Apart from Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala. It is slated to hit the theatres on June 15.
