Not jsut an accomplished actress, Sridevi was a gifted painter as well..
While Salman Khan is ne of the very few actors whom Sridevi had gifted a portrait painted by her, turns out that the legendary actress had also painted one for Sonam Kapoor. Sridevi gave a portrait of Sonam to her soon after her debut Bollywood film Saawariya hit the theatres.
Several reports suggest that Salman Khan had encouraged and motivated her to take up painting once again. When she appeared on Salman's show Dus Ka Dum with husband Boney Kapoor, Sridevi had revealed how she utilised Salman's painting tips.
They even end up chatting about this portrait that sridevi gifted to sonam. During the course of their conversation, Salman asked her how long it took for her to complete the intricate painting. To this the actress replied saying, "10 days."

The sudden demise of Sridevi left the entire country in shock on February 24. The 54-years old actress was in Dubai attending a family wedding. She died due to accidental drowning in her bathtub following loss of consciousness. Her mortal remains were goven state honour before she was cremated on February 28 in Mumbai.
