Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani's film 'Malang' will face tough competition from Kartik Aaryan-Sara Ali Khan's upcoming movie release 'Love Aaj Kal' on Valentine's Day
Aditya Roy Kapur-Disha Patani's movie 'Malang' has performed great at the Box Office on its first Wednesday i.e. on day 6. On the other hand, Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Shikara' barely manages to touch Rs. 6 crore mark so far.
'Malang' has been a top-favoruite of the audiences ever since it released (after Ajay Devgn's 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior'). The movie has a 50% rate from Monday on Wednesday (Rs. 3.25 crore), thus taking the total collections of the movie to Rs. 35 crore, according to Box Office India and Rs. 36.45 crore according to Taran Adarsh.
The Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu starring film did not start on a hugely positive note but has managed to surprise with its Wednesday collections. The film is expected to mint Rs. 38 crore over the weekend.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra produced film 'Shikara', on the other hand, has been able to mint only Rs. 5.70 crore so far. The movie collected Rs. 35 lakhs only on its first Wednesday.

The movie faces direct competition from Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan's upcoming film 'Love Aaj Kal', helmed by Imtiaz Ali, releasing on Valentine's Day aka February 14, 2020.
