Ever wondered how you would react if you bumped into one of the most loved celebrity couples in India -- Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, who happen to be strolling around the streets of the UK with their daughter Vamika, who by the way is also one of the most talked-about star kids of recent times? Well, ask Simply Amina.
Simply Amina, who claims to be the number 1 celebrity blogger in the UK (as per her Instagram bio), and is also a journalist, recently bumped into Anushka and Virat while she was returning home after work. Yes, you read that right!
After confirming that it was the celebrity couple, Amina was lucky enough to have gotten the chance to click a selfie with Anushka. A happy Amina, however, revealed that Virat, who was busy with his daughter Vamika, declined to click a photo and she totally got that!
"Yesterday I was walking in my own world going home after work, as you usually do. Tired and really looking like a mess I was thinking of what to eat for lunch. Never did I expect to meet a Bollywood star and the captain of the Indian cricket team. So I walked straight passed Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. Although I knew it was them I wanted to make sure it was, Virat was the one to look at me first because I think he saw my expression which was like ‘omgod’. I literally had to double take to just make sure it was them. So I went back and spoke to them, said I was sorry to disturb them and asked for a selfie. Anushka lovingly obliged but Virat was with Vamika so declined my selfie," Simply Amina wrote in her blog.
Amina revealed that she did not see Vamika as she was in the pram and said that she took the opportunity to tell Anushka how big a fan she was of 'Bollywood'.
"I didn't see Vamika as she was in the pram and I didn’t want to invade their privacy for obvious reasons – celebrities hello. I told Anushka how I'm a big fan of Bollywood (I was meant to say I love your work and your movies) my favourite Phillauri but the words just never came out LOL. Having said that this celebrity encounter was enough for me to think about what stars are really like (I’ll write a separate one about that soon).
