Aryan Khan bail application to be heard tomorrow

In a major disappointment for Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, the star kid will have to spend one more night in Arthur Road jail as the court will hear his bail application on Thursday, October 14, 2021, after 11 am. 

A special court in Mumbai hearing the bail plea of Aryan Khan has adjourned the hearing till tomorrow. 

Earlier, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had opposed bail for Aryan Khan and the other accused in connection with the Mumbai drugs case. The agency handed over copies of its reply to the lawyers concerned on the bail applications.

In its reply, NCB states that materials it collected during the investigation point to Aryan Khan’s role in illicit procurement and distribution of contraband.

The NCB reply states that it has been revealed prima facie that Khan used to procure contraband from Arbaaz Merchantt and sources connected to the latter.

The agency has also said that material on record shows that Aryan Khan was in contact with some persons overseas who appear to be connected to an international drug network.

As part of the investigations into the Mumbai drugs case, 20 persons have been arrested so far, including two Nigerian nationals.
