'Beyond the Clouds' Trailer: Ishaan Khatter-Malavika Mohanan shine in this Majid Majidi film about life & relationships

The makers of Beyond the Clouds have unveiled the trailer of the film which stars Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khatter and Malayalam actress Malavika Mohanan in the leads. The duo play siblings in the Majid Majidi film which explores the complexities and nuances of human relationships. 

The gripping trailer captures the underbelly of the city of Mumbai pretty well and presents before you a world that is less seen or talked about. Ishaan as Amir is pretty impressive in his first film while Malavika as Tara will leave you perplexed with her performance. 

Going by the trailer, the film revolves around an orphaned brother-sister duo, who live in dhobi ghat. While Tara has brought up his brother single handedly after the early demise of their parents, she also works there to earn a living. Amir on the other hand, dreams of making it big and ends up choosing the wrong way in the process. Little did he know that his sister might have to pay for his deeds. 

The trailer gives us glimpses of how the lives of Amir and Tara are turned topsy turvy when Tara ends up in jail for no apparent fault of hers. The Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi seems to have explored the human emotions and its complexities in a poignant tale of love and life pretty well. A R Rahman's music appears to be another highlight of the film.
