'Batla House' trailer: John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur's film is thrilling and will give answers to many questions

The much-awaited trailer for Batla House is out! The film stars John Abraham in the leading role playing a police officer named Sanjeev Kumar Yadav. The teasers of the film were shared by the actors on his social media pages and it intrigued the masses instantly. John's character Yadav was the one spearheaded the encounter which took place almost a decade ago on September 19, 2008. Operation Batla House took place against Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorists in Batla House locality in Jamia Nagar, Delhi.

The trailer starts with John seen with his team entering the Batla House locality and killing young men in an encounter. Immediately after that, the whole team is questioned for taking out an alleged fake encounter. John's character Yadav has been awarded by the government as well questioned by people and his seniors. It shows us that after 11 years people might get the real truth about Operation Batla House and answer the big question - was it a cover-up or a real victory for the Delhi police?

Batla House is directed by Nikkhil Advani and produced by T-Series and Emmay Entertainment in association with JA Entertainment and Bake My Cake Films.

Apart from John, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles. The film is slated to release on August 15, 2019.

Interestingly, Batla House will be clashing with two films - Saaho and Mission Mangal. It's going to be action and inspiration Independence Day this year.
