Babil shares heartwarming photo of Irrfan Khan-Sutapa Sikdar, reveals how 'Valentine's Day' was disregarded in family

Babil Khan often shares the teachings he learnt from his parents - late Irrfan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar. The star kid who is aspiring to be a part of the film industry soon posts several unseen and beautiful moments of Irrfan. Babil writes about heartwarming moments he shared with his father and relives it to the fullest. As Valentine's Day has ended, Babil shared a photo featuring Irrfan and Sutapa posing against the backdrop of an ocean.

Babil has an interesting caption which read as "I wish I could explain how much this concept of 'valentines day' was blatantly disregarded in our family because it does try to say that 'abhi bhai saal mein ek din to kuch special kardo apni "Mumtaz" ke liye.' Brother, I hope you are dedicating every waking second to an exploration of your loved one and not waiting for 'Valentines day'."

Recently, the 51st edition of IFFI paid homage to the late legendary actor Irrfan Khan. The actor's wife Sutapa and son Babil attended the screening of one of his marquee films, Paan Singh Tomar.

At the event, Sutapa was heard saying, "It was a very brave decision to step out of home and attend the festival. One needs closure to walk ahead and IFFI is a closure for me, it is like being there for what we have done 30 years ago as students. It feels nice to be here together to celebrate the person and IFFI couldn't have chosen a better film because this film talks about a race and reaching the finishing line. Irrfan's finish line came too soon but we are proud of him."

Irrfan passed away in April 2020, after suffering from neuroendocrine tumour.
