Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, Ritiesh Deshmukh and Ankita Lokhande starring film 'Baaghi 3' might have been 2020's biggest opening film yet, but the movie has failed to cross the expected Rs. 20 crore mark at the Box Office. The movie was always expected to have a huge opening due to the franchise it belongs to, and 'Baaghi 3' has only decent collections.

While the movie, which released in 4300 screens, is faring well in single screens, it is average in multiplexes. The ticket sales had slowed down right from its advance booking on Thursday and the main reason for that appeared to be the scare of coronavirus among Indians.

Here's what trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted:

Despite booking almost 120 cinemas in Kerala and the fact that Tiger Shroff connects with the audiences there, 'Baaghi 3' failed to work there. Apart from Kerala, 'Baaghi 3' released in over 100 theatres in Tamil Nadu too. The movie has, however, been able to collect good Box Office only from Gujarat, Saurashtra, CP Berar, Bihar and Odisha. 'Baaghi 3', however, failed to make much of a mark in Mumbai, Delhi NCR and Punjab.

Although 'Baaghi 3' Box Office is expected to pick up over the weekend, the first-day collections have barely sailed through 'Baaghi 2' Box Office. Tiger Shroff-Disha Patani's movie had released on Good Friday and minted Rs. 25 crores on day one, despite having only 3500 screens. Only the weekend and Holi holiday can save the film if it can be saved.
