Ayushmann Khurrana, who had a reasonably successful 2017 with Bareilly Ki Barfi (BKB) and Shubh Mangal Savdhaan (SMS), was reportedly offered a film where he had to play a father to a six-year-old. He politely turned down the offer and told the makers something to the effect of how he had just got a lease of life where he was enjoying playing the romantic hero.

And, after the success of BKB and SMS, he wished to prolong this phase. So, playing a father, doesn’t exactly sit pretty in the actor’s scheme of things at the moment.
