John Abraham says he owes a lot to his Pathaan co-star Shah Rukh Khan

John Abraham is busy promoting his recently released film 'Attack' these days. The sci-fi actioner, that hit theatres on April 1, is led by John in the leading role as a super-soldier combating terrorism and also features Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez in the supporting roles. During one of the promotional interviews, the 'Dhoom' actor revealed how he owes a lot in his life to Shah Rukh Khan, his co-star in the upcoming Yash Raj Films actioner.

While speaking to Pinkvilla, John shared that Shah Rukh Khan is responsible for where he's is today as he recalled being judged by the 'Chennai Express' actor in a modeling competition in which he had participated. "So I owe a lot to Shah Rukh probably for him it was just another competition that he judged", said Abraham while talking to the entertainment portal.

John also showered praises on SRK as he continued that he has a deep-rooted respect for his Pathaan co-star that he cannot really talk about. He further said that the 'Swades' actor is a wonderful person, adding that the latter is charming, lovely, and supremely intelligent.

When asked about 'Pathaan', the 'Attack' star added that he cannot reveal much about the upcoming film as it is still being made. He mentioned that he would be shooting for the same in the whole month of April and he feels that it's an honour working with Shah Rukh Khan.

Apart from the two male stars, the Siddharth Anand directorial also features Deepika Padukone in the leading role. The film is slated to release on January 25, 2023, and will clash with John's upcoming action film 'Tehran', scheduled to release on Republic Day 2023. Inspired by true events, the latter film might get postponed because of the clash, though no official announcement has been made yet.
