Athiya Shetty, KL Rahul announce their daughter's name, Evaarah; it means 'gift of...'

Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya Shetty and her cricketer husband KL Rahul revealed their daughter's name on Friday through Instagram. The couple posted a photo of themselves with their little baby and introduced Evaarah. Athiya and Rahul welcomed their first child on March 24, and on April 18, they revealed the name of their little bundle of joy. Athiya shared the news with this photo and a caption that gives out the meaning of Evaarah.

What does Evaarah mean? 

The name Evaarah is from the Sanskrit origin, and it means the 'Gift of God'. The duo shared the post with the caption, "Our baby girl, our everything. Evaarah/ इवारा - Gift of God."

As soon as the couple made this big announcement, the post and their photo went viral in no time. Several netizens and Athiya, Rahul's friends, dropped their wishes, and adored the moment new parent have their little bundle of joy. A netizen wrote, "Love her name. Can’t wait to meet her." Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul announced the birth of their first child

On March 24, Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty and Indian cricketer KL Rahul announced the arrival of their first child. Taking to their social media handles, they shared the good news with their fans, revealing that it’s a baby girl. The couple refrained from disclosing the newborn's face and instead shared a photo of two swans.

Taking to Instagram, new parents Athiya and KL Rahul dropped a joint post that read, "Blessed with a baby girl, 24.03.2025, Athiya & Rahul". Soon their post were showered with congratulatory messages from celebrities and fans alike. Athiya's industry friends, Kiara Advani, shared a series of red heart emojis, and Tiger Shroff and Shanaya Kapoor congratulated her.
