Vijay Pagare recorded his statement with the Mumbai police on November 4 where he claimed that the drug bust that took place on October 2 was pre-planned. He also said that he knew the people involved in this incident, including NCB witness Kiran Gosavi whose selfie with Aryan, went viral.

Another witness, Prabhakar Sail had also alleged that the NCB officials had tried to coerce money for letting off Aryan Khan.

Meanwhile, the NCB has already begun its investigation into the allegations. The Special Enquiry Team (SET) has been formed to look into the matter of NCB officers in connection with the extortion with the drugs case. SET is a five-member team headed by the NCB Deputy Director General Gyaneshwar Singh.

The inquiry will begin on Monday, November 8 where the SET will record individual statements of witnesses whose names are filed in the affidavit by Prabhakar Sail.

The SET was in Mumbai between October 27 -30 and had recorded the statements of eight people including Wankhede which did not include Sail. A SET official had said, "First we want to record Sail's statement because he is a crucial witness."

Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan's son was arrested on October 3 for his alleged involvement in the drugs case along with Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha. Aryan got bail from the High Court after spending three weeks in jail.
