Arshad Warsi ventures into the digital space, All you need to know

Arshad Warsi, last seen on the big screen in Golmaal Again (2017), is all set to make his digital debut with Asura. Touted to be an edge-of-the-seat psychological thriller, the web series pits the less-explored world of forensic science against the mystical mythology of Benaras. 

Arshad plays a forensic expert named Dhananjay Rajpoot, who also heads the forensic division in the CBI. Monica Shergill, Content Head, Voot, says, “It’s a layered and exciting character, and a powerhouse performer like Arshad will take it to another level. We’re thrilled to have him on Asura and he is bound to surprise the audience with an edgy portrayal.” 

TV actor Barun Sobti has also been roped in as professor, who is Dhananjay’s former protege.
