JP Dutta, who gave the film industry some of the finest war dramas of all times, including the National award-winning Border, returns with an ensemble cast in Paltan. It is learnt that Abhishek Bachchan, Pulkit Samrat, Suniel Shetty and Jackie Shroff are already on board and now, Arjun Rampal joins the cast of this war film.

Arjun’s character in the movie hails from Haryana and has won the highest gallantry award — the Maha Vir Chakra in the film. JP Dutta says, “I’m very glad to be working with Arjun... and as he hails from an Army background from the forces like I do myself... there is a certain connect... and I’m looking forward to working with him.”
