I don’t want Sandeep Aur Pinky... to be shortchanged on edit time, says Dibakar Banerjee
Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra’s next film together, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar (SAPF), which was supposed to open in cinemas on August 3 this year, has been pushed to March 1 next year. This development sees Namaste England, their other film helmed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah that began later, coming out first, on Dussehra, this October.
Explaining postponement of the SAPF’s release, director Dibakar Banerjee says, “We finished the shoot one month late because of the intense weather conditions on the Indo-Nepal border. I don’t want Sandeep Aur Pinky... to be shortchanged on edit time. YRF (the production house bankrolling the movie) agreed with my request and so we are pressing on together to the new date.”
