The June release is in post production stage right now and producers Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor are having discussions about how to ensure no scenes getting cut by CBFC. According to Mid-Day report the producers and filmmaker Shashanka Ghosh are fine with getting an A certificate for their film instead of tweeking their film for U/A certificate by Central Board of Film Certification.

The sources close to Mumbai daily reveal "The movie revolves around four girls of this generation. In keeping with the characters' tone, the film has a bit of expletives and sexual innuendos. The makers themselves came to a consensus that it isn't exactly meant for kids, but is aimed at college goers and upwards. To avoid any disagreement with the CBFC, it was decided that the film be pitched for an adult certificate."

Recently Kareena Kapoor Khan said that she is sure that audience will like Veere Di Wedding. She told media, "It's a different kind of movie. It's a story of four friends. It's not the typical boy-meets-girl romance which I think I've done so much of. So I thought this should be different. It's a small film, made by women. The producers are women - Rhea (Kapoor) and Ekta (Kapoor). I think it's a special film and people will appreciate it."
