Anushka Shetty picks Rana Daggubati over Prabhas

In a shocking development, Anushka Shetty has picked Rana Daggubati over her old friend Prabhas. Is Prabhas’ constant denial over their alleged relationship the reason for the same? If that’s what you are thinking then relax, because we are talking about a movie where Anushka will star opposite Rana and not Prabhas.

Reports suggest that Rana has bagged a cameo role in Anushka’s next movie Silence. The movie, which is touted to be a thriller would also star R. Madhavan in the lead role with Anushka, and if news reports are anything to go by, then the actress would be silent throughout the movie.

Silence is touted to be a multi-lingual project and might have cast comprising of Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film industry actors. Rana Daggubati just happens to be part of the movie reportedly due to Prabhas’ busy schedule. While Prabhas is currently busy for Saaho and Jaan, Rana is wrapping up Haathi Mere Saathi and Anushka is focusing on Silence.

Prabhas became a nationwide ‘sweetheart’ post his performance in Baahubali: The Conclusion. Co-incidentally Rana, Prabhas and Anushka all starred in the movie. Prabhas romanced Anushka Shetty while Rana Daggubati played an antagonist in the film. In real life too, Prabhas was reported to be in a relationship with the actress.

On the work front, it is being reported that the whole cast of Silence, including Rana and Hollywood actor Michael Madsen from Kill Bill, would fly down to USA in March to shoot a major portion of the film. It will be directed by Vastadu Naa Raju helmer Hemant Madhukar.
