She captioned the picture saying, "Believe you both are together." Apart from Ankita, Sushant's sister Shweta Singh Kirti also posted a black and white picture of herself holding a board that read, "We will win. Love you Bhai, God is with us."

She captioned her picture saying, "We will get justice... we will find the truth!! #warriors4ssr #justiceforsushantsinghrajput #godiswithus." Ankita has been vocal about supporting Sushant's family as they seek justice and a CBI enquiry into his death. After the Supreme Court's hearing on Wednesday, Ankita had posted on her Instagram saying, "The moment we've waited for has finally arrived."

In an exclusive interview with Zee News Editor-In-Chief Sudhir Chaudhary, Ankita had recently spoken about how she could have probably saved Sushant and will fight now so that he gets the justice he deserves. She said, "He was gone. What would anyone say? Someone lost their brother, he was a 'Rajkumar' (prince) to them. I just remember one thing that his sister Rani didi to me. She said, "Mumbai ne hamara sab khatam kar diya" (Mumbai has finished us all)."

When asked what she would like to tell Sushant right now, Ankita said, "I would like to tell him that he is extremely loved. The country loves him, his family loves him, everyone loves him. That is what I want to tell him."
