Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding on July 12 was a grand ceremony that the biggest of stars attended, adding more value to the celebration. The ceremony held at Mumbai's Jio World Convention Center, was attended by Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh and many other celebs.
For the gracious presence, the Amabni family gave their esteemed guests an expensive gift, that is equivalent to their stardom. Reportedly Anant Ambani dazzled his groomsmen, including Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh, with an extravagant gift: The limited edition of Audemars Piguet watches worth Rs 2 crore each.
A video from the ceremony also went viral in which the groomsmen, including SRK, were flashing their arms, and showing watches. The Indian Horology shared the video, with a product description in the caption, "Anant Ambani has gifted all friends spl wedding gift Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar."
About the royal gift
The 'masterpiece' from Audemars Piguet, features a 41 mm 18K pink gold case, a sapphire crystal back, and a screw-locked crown. With a 40-hour power reserve, the wristwatch comes with an 18K pink gold bracelet, an AP folding buckle, and an additional blue alligator strap, and is water resistant up to 20 meters
The Manufacture Calibre 5134 self-winding movement includes a perpetual calendar with week indication, day, date, astronomical moon, month, leap year, hours, and minutes.
