Concerned about Sara Ali Khan’s career, the star-mother is said to have blasted the Kedarnath director
The fate of Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath hangs on a thread after Gattu had a fall out with his immediate partner KriArj Entertainment. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and is also meant to be the launchpad for Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter, Sara Ali Khan.
However, Abhishek’s decision to terminate his agreement with producer Prernaa Arora (of KriArj Entertainment) has put the film in limbo. Other studios are now hesitant to come on board because Abhishek and Prernaa are both seeking legal recourse. And even as they wash their dirty linen in public, Amrita, who is concerned about Sara’s debut is reportedly very upset with Gattu for his brash behaviour. A source says, “When Gattu called Dingy (Amrita) to tell her about his decision to fly solo with Kedarnath and only getting a big studio on board for the release, Amrita completely lost her cool with him. A heated argument took place between the two.”
Amrita’s anxiety in the matter is not misplaced. After all, Sara’s debut is being looked forward to.
