It was only a few days back that Alia Bhatt and family once again became the target for the Ranaut family. After Kangana Ranaut called Alia Bhatt 'mediocre' actress, the 'Queen' actress' sister Rangoli Chandel threw shade at Alia Bhatt and her parents Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt all at once.

Rangoli called Soni Razdan 'non-Indian' and accused her of spreading hate. Quote tweeting Soni Razdan's claims, Rangoli wrote, ''These non Indians who are living off this land, using and abusing its people and its resources, lying about intolerance and spreading hatred, time to think about their agenda and not to get carried away with their provocations.''

She went on to accuse Mahesh Bhatt of throwing 'chappals' at her sister Kangana Ranaut during the premiere of her movie Wo Lamhe. In fact when Alia lauded Randeep Hooda for supporting her, Rangoli even went on to call her 'successful because of chamchagiri'.

When asked about the same, Alia Bhatt handled the matter maturely. She smiled and said, "If I am mature then my family is 10 times more mature and stronger than I am. I don't want to get into this. I just want to be happy, positive, work hard, be a better version of myself every day. I should not pay attention to what people are saying. Everyone has a right to say and what they want to say. I'll remain quiet and this is my stand."

For the uninitiated, Kangana Ranaut first attacked Alia Bhatt when the latter did not come for Manikarnika screening. She asked Alia to grow a spine at that time. The actress later on bashed both Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor (Alia's boyfriend) for not giving their opinion on a political matter.
