Ali Fazal to team up with his Prassthanam director again
Ali’s acting, camaraderie and confidence in Prassthanam, in which he plays Sanjay’s son, impressed Deva so much that he decided to cast him in his next project
Ali Fazal, who is currently shooting for Prassthanam with southern director Deva Katta, has bagged his next venture too. Like the Sanjay Dutt production, a political thriller revolving around a father-son relationship, their second film will also be a remake of a Telugu hit.
Says a source, “Ali’s acting, camaraderie and confidence in Prassthanam, in which he plays Sanjay’s son, impressed Deva so much that he decided to cast him in his next project, which will see the Fukrey actor trying his hand at a hardcore comic role for the first time. While Vennela (2013) is a romantic comedy set in a college, Deva, who scripted it too, is rewriting it to make it suitable for the Hindi audiences.”
