Akshay Kumar's 'Prithviraj': Manushi Chhillar gives sneak peek into her character of Sanyogita

Manushi Chhillar is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar in YRF's 'Prithviraj'. The movie portrays her as the character of Sanyogita, one of the three wives of Prithviraj. Manushi gave us a sneak-peek into the character by sharing an image on Instagram.

Even though a silhouette, it is clear that Manushi wears a braid in the look shared by her. The actress had started shooting for the movie with Akshay Kumar in November. In the interview with Bombay Times, the director of the film Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi had confirmed that YRF had been grooming Manushi for the past nine months. He also stated that Manushi has been training for the role six days a week since she was finalized for it.

Apart from Manushi, many young faces were auditioned for the role, claimed the director, also adding that the Miss World had nailed her audition every single time. "While Sanyogita was an incredibly beautiful person, she was also a strong and confident girl," he had mentioned.

Talking about her character, Manushi had told the daily, “She was a powerful personality and stood up for what is right and took the most important decisions of her life herself. Her life is an extremely important chapter in Indian history, and I will try my best to play her as accurately as possible.”
