Akshay Kumar has a sweet surprise for wife Twinkle Khanna on Valentine's Day - but there's a twist

 Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna have been giving us major couple goals all the time so how could the much-in-love couple miss out on celebrating Valentine's Day. After wrapping up for promotions for Mrs Funnybone's first film as a producer - Pad Man Akshay Kumar had no time to rest but he made sure to be back home to suprise wifey dear on V-Day.

Obviously, Twinkle Khanna was happy with his suprise visit but there's a twist. Twinkle shared a picture of Akshay Kumar carrying two bouquets in his hand and while wifey dear assumed both of them are for her, Akki clarified that one is for their darling daughter Nitara as well. Twinkle shared a picture of her 'best friend' and captioned it " And my best friend flies in for a Valentine’s day surprise with, ‘Both are not for you, one is for my daughter! ‘ #happyvalentinesday"

Well, Akshay Kumar has often spoken about how his wife wants him to do films beyond the masala entertainers as well. In an interview to DNAAfter Hrs earlier, Tina confessed the same. She said, "He isn’t scared of me at all. I think he values my opinion. For a long time, I’ve been urging him to take a leap into the kind of cinema that would have another layer beyond just commercial films. I think, now he is happy to call me for screenings of those movies that have a social message or go beyond just being a blockbuster.  Incidentally, just the other day, my son Aarav was writing a play for school and he had two diametrically opposite ideas. I said, ‘Beta, please don’t write a masala comedy, but something along the lines of Airlift.’ But, it’s more of a joke. I’m not the Principal of The Prime Beach (the building where they reside) School. Everyone around is free to do whatever they choose to. But Akshay is prouder of the cinema that I approve of."

Akshay also took to Instagram before the release of Pad Man to thank his wifey dear for making this film turn into a reality.
