Ajay Devgn-Sonakshi Sinha starrer 'Bhuj: The Pride of India’ gets release date, to stream on this OTT platform
Apart from Ajay Devgn, ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Ammy Virk, Nora Fatehi, and Sharad Kelkar in key roles.
Ajay Devgn’s highly anticipated film, ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ is all set to release on August 13. This film is also one of the many to get an OTT release this year and will stream on Disney+ Hotstar VIP. The star-studded ensemble cast also includes Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Ammy Virk, Nora Fatehi, and Sharad Kelkar.
Ajay Devgn took to his social media to share the posters of the film which shows him in the uniform of the armed forces, Sonakshi, Sanjay and Ammy. While sharing the photo he wrote, “1971. THE GREATEST BATTLE EVER FOUGHT. #BhujThePrideOfIndia releasing on 13th August only on @DisneyplusHSVIP.”
The film is set amid the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war and is inspired by the journey of the fearless IAF Squadron Vijay Karnik who was in charge of the Bhuj airport, and how he re-constructed an entire IAF airbase along with the help of 300 women from a local village in Madhapar to protect our country.
Apart from announcing the release date of the film, the makers have also unveiled its motion poster which promises powerful action sequences, heart-churning emotions, love, and patriotism towards our country and a mission that brings many brave people of Bhuj together for victory.
The trailer of the film will be out on July 12. Presented by T-Series and Ajay Devgn Films, ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Ginny Khanuja, Vajir Singh, and Bunny Sanghavi under the banner of Select Media Holdings LLP.
