Even before Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Kajol could openly start promoting their upcoming movie 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior', the movie has come in trouble. Based on the Maratha warrior, Tanaji Malusare, there is an accusation that the story does not do justice to his lineage.

Akhil Bhartiya Kshatriya Koli Rajput Sangh Delhi has taken 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' and director Om Raut to court. The petition for Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan starrer will be heard on December 19 in Delhi high court, confirmed ANI.

"A petition has been filed in Delhi High Court regarding Ajay Devgan & Kajol starer upcoming movie 'Tanhaji-The Unsung Warrior.' Akhil Bhartiya Kshatriya Koli Rajput Sangh Delhi, has approached Court claiming that director of the film has concealed true lineage of Tanaji Malusare," tweeted the wire agency, adding, "The matter has been listed for hearing on 19th December in Delhi High Court."

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior was slated to release on January 20, 2020. The movie will clash with Deepika Padukone-Vikrant Massey's Chhapaak, directed by Meghna Gulzar. While the trailer of Chhapaak has been unveiled recently, Tanhaji makers have also unveiled two songs so far.
