Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's father Krishnaraj Rai passed away on March 18, 2017, after suffering from severe health issues. Today, it's been three years and on their death anniversary, Aishwarya took to her Instagram page and shared a series of photos with daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and her father's frame in the backdrop. The actor is all smiles with her baby girl and remembers her dad and writes about how much she misses him.

Meanwhile, on her father's birth anniversary, Aishwarya with her mother Vrinda Rai and Aaradhya spend time at an NGO which create awareness about cleft lips. She has often spoken about it on her Instagram page.

Talking about the campaign with the NGO, Aishwarya said in a statement, "I am so touched with Smile Train India’s gesture to celebrate my father’s birthday as the Day of Smiles. I hope all of you come together and contribute to their efforts in every way, especially their Right To Smile pledge campaign. Together we can help every child smile."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aishwarya's upcoming film is Mani Ratnam's upcoming directorial titled Ponniyin Selvan which is a historical drama based on a book of the same name. Along with her, the film also likely stars Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Parthiepan, Jayaram, Amala Paul, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Ashwin Kakumanu.

Talking about Aishwarya's shoot, a source had earlier told a tabloid, "Most of her portions are with Vikram, who plays the role of Prince Aditya Karikalan. They had worked together in Raavan."
