Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan remember late Krishnaraj Rai on his birthday

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan misses her father Krishnaraj Rai dearly, and on his birthday, she had the sweetest words to say for him. She shared a picture of him on her verified Instagram handle and called him the 'ever smiling guardian angel'.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY Daddyyy- Ajjaa. Our Ever- Smiling Guardian ANGEL. LOVE YOU ETERNALLY," shared Aishwarya alongside the image.

Abhishek Bachchan already wished Rai on his birth anniversary a few hours back. He addressed Krishnaraj as 'dad' and shared an image of him from what appears to be from one of Aaradhya's birthday parties. Alongside the image, he wrote, "Happy Birthday Dad. Miss you."

Krishnaraj Rai died of lymphoma on March 18, 2017. Lymphoma affects the immune system of human beings. He is survived by wife Vrinda Rai, daughter Aishwarya and son Aditya Rai.

In the past few years, Aishwarya, a global icon, shared images of her, Aaradhya and Abhishek Bachchan along with the photo of Krishnaraj. Her mother Vrinda Rai was also seen in one of the selfies with Aishwarya and Aaradhya.

On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in 'Ludo' which released on Netflix. The actor will also be seen in 'The Big Bull' and Shah Rukh Khan-produced 'Bob Biswas'.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, on the other hand, will be seen on the big screen after a long time. She has been finalized for Mani Ratnam's upcoming movie 'Ponniyan Selvan'. The project came to a halt due to COVID-19, but is expected to go on floors soon.
