Total Dhamaal actor Arshad Warsi has found himself in the middle of a controvery for a tweet that he had shared on Twitter back in the year 2015. The Munna Bhai MBBS actor had shared an image of a man, seeking blessings from a Naga Sadhu in 2015, on his Twitter page. His caption meant something to the effect which conveys that that's what a stupid person looks like (alluding to the man seeking blessings).

Now, some of the Tweeple came across the tweet and started slamming Arshad for his comment. Looks like the Twitterati were in no mood to take Arshad's sense of humour. Some went on to claim that he has hurt their religious sentiments, while there were others who tweeted out to the Mumbai Police with a screenshot of the tweet, requesting them to take action against the actor.

Koena Mitra too tweeted, "We are surrounded by D**k heads Arshad, they marry their sisters, rape their daughters, goats, donkeys, and pregnant dogs too, I mean men with roaming D**ks! Love the way they blow themselves up to serve 72 ..whatever... Thinking is a good thing Arshad, start using your head!! (sic)"

Following major backlash on Twitter, Arshad deleted the controversial tweet and issued an apology on Twitter. On Saturday, Arshad took to the micro blogging site and wrote, "Meine kabhi bhi koi bhi tweet kisi ko dhuk pahuchaney ke liye nahi ki, agar kisi ko bura laga toh mein maafi chahata hun ainda aisa kabhi nahi hoga...(sic)" (I have never tweeted anyting to hust anybody. In case anyone got hurt/flet offended then I apologise for the same. This won't happen in future).

The actor is still getting massively trolled on his apology tweet. Some are calling for a complete ban on his movies, while others are pointing out that it took him four years to realise that he didn't mean to hurt the sentiments of the denizens.
