After Shikhar Dhawan, actor Rajpal Yadav feeds grains to Siberian birds despite ban

After a video of the actor feeding the birds surfaced, SP Crime Ashutosh Mishra has said that an inquiry will be conducted in the case.

Despite a ban, actor Rajpal Yadav on Friday was seen feeding grains to the Siberian birds on the Sangam coast in Prayagraj.

For the uninformed, in the wake of the Bird Flu pandemic, the District Administration had ordered a complete ban on feeding the Siberian birds. However, unfortunately, Rajpal Yadav was seen breaking the rule. 

It has been reported that no one tried to stop the actor from feeding the birds, despite clear instructions that is a ban on the said activity. However, the administration claims that there were enough security personnel deployed to stop anyone from feeding the bird who have flocked to the Sangam coast and nearby wetlands of Uttar Pradesh.

Meanwhile, after a video of the actor feeding the birds surfaced, SP Crime Ashutosh Mishra has said that an inquiry will be conducted in the case. 

Earlier, Indian cricketer, Shikhar Dhawan too was spotted feeding birds during his cruise on the Ganga river in Varanasi. According to the inputs, an official complaint has been filed in the Varanasi court.  

As per the rules set by the district authority of Varanasi, they prohibited feeding birds amidst the outbreak as lakhs of birds could get infected. With the photos of Shikhar Dhawan and the birds going viral, the Varanasi District Administration took the matter in its own hands. An inquiry on the complete matter with immediate effect was requested and the District Magistrate also informed that the sailor of the boat in which Dhawan was sailing was also under the scanner. The District Magistrate also informed that the sailor of the boat should have been aware of the local laws.  The Indian Cricket Team will take on England in their own backyard, with the first Test of the four-match series beginning from February 5 at Chennai.

The Varanasi court on February 6 will decide whether to hear the official complaint or not. The complaint was filed by Advocate Siddharth Shrivastav. 

Apart from the coronavirus, India is currently grappling with the massive outbreak of the deadly Bird Flu. So far, nine states have confirmed the outbreak of Bird Flu with Maharashtra the worst affected the administrative bodies have been vigilant about people protecting themselves from the widespread outbreak. 

Apart from Maharashtra, Kerala, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab have also been affected.
