After receiving backlash, Kareena Kapoor Khan clarifies she and Saif Ali Khan have donated to PM Cares, CM Relief Fund

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has recently joined Instagram, did reveal that she has donated to PM Cares Fund and Chief Minister's Relief Fund in fight against coronavirus. The actress did so a day after receiving backlash over her announcement of donating to UNICEF.

"We extend our support to the PM Cares Fund and the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (Maharashtra). In times like these, every helping hand and every rupee raised, matters. Do help wherever possible - Kareena, Saif and Taimur," shared the actress. The post, thus claims that the family has done their bit and donated towards the cause.

Only a day back, the actress came under the scanner for not mentioning the two important organizations when donating towards the cause. She had shared then, "At difficult times like these, we need to come together and help each other. We have both taken steps to do just that and have pledged our support to UNICEF, GIVE INDIA and the International Association for Human Values (IAHV). We urge those of you who can to do the same. United we stand. Jai Hind - Kareena, Saif & Taimur."

Kareena had also specifically posted a photo of her and Saif in Italy and stated that she and her love are praying for them. "Amore Italy. My love and I are praying for you all," she had written. Bebo had been sharing moments from her life post quarantine - right from napping to workout. She also shared paintings by their son Taimur Ali Khan. The actress was part of 'Angrezi Medium' which released in theatres only for a day. The movie would be slated for re-release after the 21-day lockdown period.
