Several reports have been doing the rounds for a while suggesting that Ekta Kapoor has acquired film rights for the book 'I Too Had A Dream' based on the life of Dr. Verghese Kurien, the man who brought about the milk revolution in the country.

Apparently, Ekta has roped in Shree Narayan Singh of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha fame to helm the film. Now if a report in Deccan Chronicle is to be believed, the makers are keen to cast Akshay Kumar in the lead role.

Talking about casting Akshay, a trade analyst stated to the daily, "Akshay’s reigning the charts and every film of his is a safe bet. So, this time around, the price will be what Akshay will take in addition to the partnership that he will command when he signs the film on the milkman of India. We are sure that he will charge an utterly, butterly delicious price for the film."

We must say, after starring in social dramas like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Pad Man, it is obvious that filmmakers are considering Akshay for such roles.

Meanwhile, speaking about Dr Kurien’s life, Shree Narayan Singh earlier said, "The film will talk about not just making profits and being a huge enterprise but also Dr Kurien’s role in empowering the general public, especially women at the grassroots level. Dr. Kurien was a visionary businessman, philanthropist and a great human. He wanted to study nuclear engineering but ended up in the dairy industry."

Well, we cannot wait to see Akshay to rule the box-office with another social drama.
