After 'Brahmastra', Shah Rukh Khan to play journalist in R Madhavan's 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect'?

Actor R Madhavan starred in Shah Rukh Khan starrer 2018 film as a NASA scientist and seems like now Shah Rukh Khan is all set to return the favour. According to reports, Shah Rukh is reported to have shot for a small but pivotal role of a journalist in Madhavan’s upcoming film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.

The report states that Shah Rukh starred in two films to play a pivotal guest appearance last year, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra and now Madhavan's Rocketry. The report further stated that both Ayan and Madhavan are fond of Shah Rukh and his role in both the films are integral to the plot and help carry the narrative forward.

Reports about his cameo in Brahmastra stated that the film opens with Shah Rukh's role as a scientist who will introduce the audiences to the fantasy world that they are going to witness. For the uninformed, Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is a biopic, based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) who was accused of espionage. The film is written, produced and director by Madhavan who has a huge following in the country. 

On the work front, Shah Rukh was last seen in Zero, also starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. He hasn’t announced his next project since then and is believed to be on a sabbatical. However, there have been several reports that have said that he has signed the Rakesh Sharma biopic titled Saare Jahaan Se Achha but it was later reported that he quit the project.
