Actor Vijay Raaz arrested for allegedly molesting crew member, gets bail
It was on the complaint of a 30-year-old crew member accusing the actor of misbehaving and harassing her during the film's shoot in Madhya Pradesh's Balaghat and again at the hotel in Gondia, that the actor was later apprehended.

Popular Bollywood actor Vijay Raaz, best known for his roles in films like 'Run', 'Bhopal Express', 'Raghu Romeo' and most recently 'Gulabo Sitabo', was on late Monday evening arrested by Gondia police for allegedly molesting a female crew member during the shoot of one of his upcoming films. However, it is being reported that the star has been granted bail.
The actor was reportedly shooting for upcoming film 'Sherni' starring noted Bollywood star, Vidya Balan, in Maharashtra's Gondia. According to reports, the film's crew along with actor Vijay Raaz had been staying at Gondia's Gateway hotel since the last 15 days.
It was on the complaint of a 30-year-old crew member accusing the actor of misbehaving and harassing her during the film's shoot in Madhya Pradesh's Balaghat and again at the hotel in Gondia, that the actor was later apprehended.
Consequently, a case was registered against the actor under sections 354 (A and D) of the Indian Penal Code in Gondia's Ramnagar Police Station.
Professionally, the actor has been part of over 50 Bollywood films and is popularly known for his ‘Kauwa Biryani’ scene from the film 'Run' which became a massive hit among the audiences. Vijay Raaz made his directorial debut with 2014 release - 'Kya Dilli Kya Lahore' and will reportedly be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', starring Alia Bhatt in the titular role.
