NCP leader Jayant Patil also praised actor Sonu Sood and called him 'an inspiring hero in reality'

Sonu Sood came forward and helped migrant workers reach back home in UP and Bihar. He sent buses from Mumbai filled with the migrant workers who could travel their way back home and finally see their families after nearly two months.
The actor's efforts were lauded and Twitter trended Sonu Sood while sharing photos and videos of him while doing the act. A video posted saw Sonu sending the migrant workers from Mumbai to UP and Bihar in three huge buses.

NCP leader Jayant Patil also praised the actor's efforts and called him 'an inpiring hero in reality'. “Sonu Sood is arranging buses for migrants who want to go back to their homes. He is trying to help as many migrants as he can. The on screen villain is an inspiring hero in reality! God bless him @SonuSood,” tweeted Patil.

A statement released by Sonu Sood read, “It has been an extremely emotional journey for me as my heart pains to see these migrants staying away from their homes walking on streets. I will continue sending migrants home until the last migrant reunites with his family and loved ones. This is something really close to my heart and I will give it my all.” The buses left from Wadala in Mumbai and departed to Lucknow, Hardoi, Pratapgarh, Siddharthnagar, Jharkhand and Bihar among other states.
