Okay, Abhishek Bachchan has decided to be politically correct, after all. You can attribute it to his polished upbringing. It was reported that his ‘comeback’ film Manmarziyaan was scheduled to release on the same day as that of his mentor, JP Dutta’s Paltan, September 7. Filmmaker Karan Johar’s production, Drive, is also meant to come on the same date. We now hear that AB Jr has requested his producers to postpone his film by a week, in order to avoid this clash.

Meanwhile, even as the makers of Manmarziyaan — producer Aanand L Rai and director Anurag Kashyap — are contemplating a date change, one hears that superstar-filmmaker, Ajay Devgn, has chosen September 14 as the release date for his wife, Kajol’s film Eela. Those looking to see if fireworks will fly will have to wait for some more time. Right now, the makers of Manmarziyaan and Eela are only tentatively looking at that date. Ajay and Abhishek are close friends. Wonder how these two will put their heads together to find a solution.
