Aamir Khan- Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ gets new release date

Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Studios have officially announced the new release date of their highly-anticipated film "Laal Singh Chaddha," in response to the Maharashtra government's decision to allow the reopening of theatres and multiplexes in the state.

‘Laal Singh Chaddha,' starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya, Mona Singh, and Manav VJ, among others, is set to hit theatres on Valentine's Day 2022.

Announcing the new release date of his movie on the social media, Aamir Khan Productions mentioned, “We welcome the decision of the administration to allow cinemas to re-open from 22nd Oct. Due to the delays faced as a result of the pandemic, we will be unable to release our film Laal Singh Chaddha, this Christmas. We will now be releasing Laal Singh Chaddha on Valentine’s Day, 2022.”

Aamir Khan's production firm had issued an official statement denying the charges that he was 'littering' in Ladakh while filming 'Laal Singh Chaddha,' the Hindi adaption of Tom Hanks' 'Forrest Gump.'

The statement read, "To whomsoever, it may concern, AKP would like to clarify that as a company we follow strict protocols for cleanliness in and around our shooting spaces. We have a team that makes sure that the location is kept trash-free at all times. At the end of the day, there's a recheck of the entire location. At the end of the entire schedule, we make sure that when we leave a location, we leave it as clean or cleaner than we found it."

"We believe that there are some rumours/allegations about our location not being kept clean. We strongly deny such claims. Our location is always open to relevant local authorities to carry out checks anytime they like.”

‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ also reunites Aamir and Kareena Kapoor Khan, who last worked together in the cult film ‘3 Idiots’. The superstar who has dedicated his undivided attention on ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is in an intense phase of post-production.
