As per a report on MidDay, Factory will be Faisal Khan's directorial debut. What's surprising is that his brother Aamir Khan also wasn't aware that Faisal has turned director. Not just that, Faisal will also be making his singing debut with the film.

The tabloid quoted Faisal as saying, "Direction was always on my mind, but this happened organically. We had another director [Sharique Minhaj] on board, but due to date issues, he couldn't continue. That's when I decided to step in. What is interesting is that my brother and mother [Zeenat] are aware of the film, but they don't know that I have turned director. I wanted to surprise them after finishing one schedule. I am waiting to see their reaction."

Speaking about how singing happened in the film, Faisal told the tabloid, "Sharique insisted that I sing the song. I had no qualms about turning singer."

Faisal Khan made his Bollywood debut as a lead in the 1994 film Madhosh. The actor had earlier appeared in a small role in Aamir Khan's debut film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. He was also seen in Aamir'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar but wasn't given the credit for his appearance.
