'Your brilliance will be remembered for generations my friend': Bhumi Pednekar pays tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput
Abhishek Chaubey directorial 'Sonchiriya' clocked two years of its release and Bhumi Pednekar took a trip down memory lane.
Sonchiriya directed by Abhishek Chaubey completed two years of its release on March 1. The film starred the late Sushant Singh Rajput along with Bhumi Pednekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in the lead roles. The film was received positively by the critics and the masses. Set against the backdrop of Chambal, the actors played dacoits in the film and was heard speaking in the Bundeli dialect.
As Sonchiriya clocked two years of its release, Bhumi took a trip down memory lane and shared BTS photos from the sets. The actor also remembered Sushant and paid a tribute to him by sharing unseen BTS stills.

While remembering Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi Pednekar wrote on her Instagram story, "Want to end by saying... That we miss Sushant. I remember after the screening we both just couldn't stop crying... We were so overwhelmed and grateful to be a part of this film and what it gave us. A family and experiences for many lifetimes... This one was one of our toughest yet most rewarding. Your brilliance as Lakhna will be remembered for generations, my friend.
While shooting in the scorching heat, Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar protected themselves with stylish sunglasses and umbrellas.
Bhumi Pednekar shared a video in which Sushant Singh Rajput along with Ranvir Shorey and director Abhishek Chaubey showed excitement at the airport as they headed for the shoot.
Sushant Singh Rajput clapped happily while kids on the sets cut the cake as they had wrapped the Sonchiriya shoot.
