In 2018, Sonali Bendre was diagnosed with stage four metastatic cancer. Sharing her journey on Instagram, she expressed, 'I’m taking this battle head on, knowing I have the strength of my family and friends behind me.' The actress underwent treatment in New York and, after a courageous fight, emerged cancer-free a few years later.
3.Sanjay Dutt
In August 2020, Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. Despite the tough journey, he bravely underwent chemotherapy in Dubai and emerged victorious. Marking his triumph on his children’s birthday, he soon returned to the silver screen, inspiring countless cancer survivors with his resilience.

In 2018, Tahira Kashyap revealed her breast cancer diagnosis, bravely sharing both the physical and emotional challenges. She documented her journey, openly discussing her mastectomy and chemotherapy, inspiring countless women to prioritise their health and regular checkups.

5.Manisha Koirala
Bollywood actress, Manisha Koirala is also a cancer survivor, who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2012 and later recovered. She actively raises awareness about the disease and has even penned a memoir detailing her journey.
6.Rakesh Roshan
Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan successfully overcame early-stage throat cancer. In 2019, his son Hrithik Roshan shared an Instagram post, saying, 'He is probably the strongest man I know. Got diagnosed with early-stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it.'
7.Kirron Kher
In 2021, Anupam Kher shared that Kirron Kher had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. The actress later mentioned how she continued working on her reality show while undergoing treatment for the disease.
8.Mahima Chaudhry
Pardes fame Mahima Chaudhry is a breast cancer survivor. She shared the news in an emotional video posted by Anupam Kher on Instagram in 2022, with Kher calling her a 'hero.'
