Several media outlets have reported time and again that the reason why Kareena Kapoor Khan was initially named 'Siddhima' by her late grandfather Raj Kapoor was that he wanted it to rhyme with son, late Rishi Kapoor and his wife Neetu Kapoor's daughter Riddhima's name. Kareena was born on September 21 while Riddhima was born just six days before her on September 15. Everyone is aware that Kareena Kapoor Khan's nickname is Bebo and that her family and close friends call her by that name. It was given to her by her father, Randhir Kapoor. But how did it happen to her? Well, in one of her interviews, Kareena had revealed that her father just wanted her nickname to rhyme with her elder sister Karisma's, which is Lolo. She had said, "My father and mother wanted some funny names for both of us, so it's Lolo and Bebo and there's no real meaning. It kind of rhymes. Lolo means loli, in Sindhi they say meethi loli (Sindhi sweet roti), so hers came from there, mine just happened."
