Nearly choking, Singh added, "Otherwise we will never find closure. We won't be able to live a peaceful life. (Translated from Hindi) I request everyone from the bottom of my heart that we stand together to demand for CBI enquiry, because we deserve to know the truth. Thank you," said Shweta before showing her placard for #CBIForSSR and ending the video saying 'please.'

Soon after, various celebrities like Varun Dhawan, Sooraj Pancholi, Kriti Sanon, Parineeti Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Ankita Lokhande and others also demanded #CBIForSSR. Currently, Varun Dhawan is making headlines because the actor spoke about the matter after nearly two months of silence (since Sushant's demise on June 14, 2020).

"The nation wants to know what happened with Sushant Singh Rajput. Justice For Sushant #CBIForSSR," said Ankita in a video shared by her soon after Shweta Singh Kirti's clip. Posting the video, Lokhande simply captioned it, "#justiceforsushantsinghrajput #CBIforSSR."

Supporting Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti's initiative #CBIForSSR, Kangana Ranaut had recently shared a video. "We want CBI for Sushant Singh Rajput. We deserve to know the truth," she was heard saying in the video.

Kriti who kept mum for a long time after Sushant's tragic death took to her Instagram stories on Thursday and wrote, "I pray that the Truth comes out SOON...His family, his friends, fans, and all loved ones deserve this closure... I hope and pray that the CBI takes over the case so it's investigated without any political agendas, in the TRUE sense, to provide justice to the family!! Its high time his soul rests in peace! #CBIForSSR #SushantSinqhRajput."

Varun Dhawan also took to his Instagram story and demanded 'CBIForSSR' with folded hands.

Varun Dhawan, who is a star kid, is receiving praises as well as criticism for the act. He is being praised for speaking up, but a few have questioned why did he speak only now, accusing that he is afraid even his movie would be bashed like 'Sadak 2'.

"I really pray and hope that Sushants family get the closure they need! They really deserve a proper CBI investigation, It has been a long battle for them already! They need to know what actually happened, and the World needs to know too! #CBIforSSR," wrote Sooraj Pancholi on his Instagram story.

The actor was often linked with Sushant and his ex-manager Disha Salian's death. Sooraj had then stated that he had never met Disha in his life.

Sushant's 'Shuddh Desi Romance' co-star Parineeti Chopra also shared an Instagram story which read, "All that is needed is the truth. #CBIForSSR."

Sharing an image of Sushant, Zareen Khan tweeted, "Sushant’s family needs to know the truth, his fans & every person who loved him needs to know the truth. #CBIForSSR #CBIforSushant #Warriors4SSR #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput #TruthShallPrevail @itsSSR."

Sushant's good friend Vikas Guppta also shared a video of him praying for SSR. "Today is very importnt. Please pray that the decision today paves way for the truth to come out. There are lives who wont fully move ahead till they know What really happened to their brother son love friend inspiration & that smile #SushantSinghRajput ? #CBIForSushant," wrote Vikas while sharing the video.
