In a series of tweets, Anurag Kashyap and Ranvir Shorey got into a discussion about the film industry post-Kangana Ranaut's recent interview. Amid that, one of the Twitterati accused Anurag of being a part of a Bollywood mafia gang. It came after Ranvir's tweet, "So many independent-film-crusaders have turned mainstream-Bollywood-flunkies now. These are the same people who used to rant 24/7 about the “system” for attention before they were given entry into the pearly gates of mainstream Bollywood. #Hypocrisy much?"

In relation to Sushant Singh Rajput death case, Mumbai Police recorded statements of three psychiatrists and a psychotherapist. According to the police, Sushant started his treatment in November 2019. Now, a shocking revelation has been made by police sources in which one of the psychiatrists claimed that the late actor suffered from bipolar disorder. While the rest of the doctors revealed that he was under grave stress. None of them has been able to give the reason for his mental stress.

After being constantly called out by netizens and several celebrities, Mumbai Police have summoned film critic Rajeev Masand in relation with Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The renowned critic has been accused of writing multiple negative blind items on the late actor. Kangana Ranaut, Manoj Bajpayee and Apurva Asrani are among many celebs who bashed Masand for the same. As per reports, the critic will be questioned about these allegations by the cops. He has been called in for interrogation by Bandra police station.

Writer Chetan Bhagat has said that producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra "bullied" and "drove him to suicide" in a tweet that was directed towards film critic Anupama Chopra who is also Vidhu's wife. Anupama responded to a tweet by Chetan today. He had tweeted, "Write sensibly. Don't act overs mart. Don't write rubbish. Be fair and sensible. Don't try your dirty tricks. You have ruined enough lives. Now stop. We'll be watching."

In a recent interaction with Zee News, Sanjana spoke at length about her feelings regarding the release of her film on Friday and how she is coping with Sushant's death along with the impending release of the film. She said, "I don't think I can call what I am doing 'coping'. I am very young right now, just 23, and I have never lost a friend before and I have never launched my debut film before. So both of these things are happening at once. On one hand, I worked really hard and I have a film coming out but on the other hand, I am going through my biggest tragedy in life so far as well."
