Sunaina Roshan's beau Ruhail Amin breaks his silence on being allegedly called a 'terrorist' by Roshan family
During an interaction with a portal, Sunaina Roshan's boyfriend Ruhail Amin spoke at length about their relationship being disapproved by the Roshan family and allegedly being called a 'terrorist' as well.
Hrithik Roshan's sister Sunaina Roshan has been claiming that she has been living in hell from the past few weeks. During an interaction with Pinkvilla, Sunaina had revealed that she is in a relationship with a journalist named Ruhail Amin and her family don't approve of it. Sunaina stated, "Last year and because I was in love with a Muslim guy, my father slapped me and told me that the guy I loved was a terrorist, which Ruhail isn’t. If he was one, would he go scot-free and work in the media? Wouldn’t he have been behind bars? I met Ruhail through Facebook last year but I hadn’t saved his number as I didn’t want my parents to know. I shifted out of Palazzo apartments in Juhu, where my parents stay and started living in a hotel apartment but came back to my parent’s home last week. I got in touch with him through his office."
She added, "He is a journalist called Ruhail Amin. I didn’t want to talk about this but I want them to accept Ruhail right now because they are making my life hell and I cannot tolerate it… They don’t want me to meet him. I don’t know about marriage but right now I want to be with Ruhail. Just because he is Muslim, they cannot accept him. If he was a terrorist, why would he be open in the media? Why would he be all over Google?"
Now, in an interview with News18, Ruhail broke his silence on the controversy and also spoke about how the Roshan family approved of Hrithik Roshan's marriage with Sussanne Khan.

Ruhail Amin, during an interaction with News18, was asked about 'love jihad' with Sunaina Roshan and being called a 'terrorist' as well. He stated, "This is unfortunate. Labelling someone extremist just because he/she belongs to a certain religion is simply outrageous and needs to be condemned in strongest words."
When asked about meeting Sunaina for the first time, Ruhail said, "We lost touch and reconnected through social media."
He also spoke about how the Roshan family disapproved of it. Ruhail further said, "They did not approve of our friendship. I also got to know that her parents put a security ring around her post our friendship, and when she told me about it my first reaction was of disbelief and later a good laugh."
Sunaina had said that Rakesh Roshan slapped her and went on to say that Ruhail is a 'terrorist'. Talking about the same, the journalist said, "Calling someone a terrorist just because of his identity is unacceptable. Religions and geographies should not become the cornerstones of defining extremism; we need to move beyond that mindset. Most importantly, we need to stand up against ignorant viewpoints, whoever has them."
Ruhail went on to speak about Sunaina saying, "She wants to restart her life on a positive note and wants her family to support her decisions."
When asked about Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan's relationship being approved and not Sunaina's with Ruhail, he said, "Everyone can see the irony here."
