Priyanka Chopra was recently speaking at the Beautycon Festival in Los Angeles when a Pakistani woman from the audience stood up and questioned her role as a UN Goodwill Ambassador and accused her of encouraging war against Pakistan, calling her a hypocrite. She referred to PC's tweet after the Balakot air strikes by the Indian Armed Forces in February, which read, "Jai Hind #IndianArmedForces"

Now, the Pakistani woman has lashed out against Priyanka Chopra on Twitter, writing, "She gaslit me and turned the narrative around on me being the “bad guy” — as a UN ambassador this was so irresponsible."

While Priyanka Chopra was busy talking about women empowerment and sisterhood, turns out that a Pakistani woman sitting in the audience yelled at her, calling her a hypocrite and questioning her role as the United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, as per a report on E!

The woman accused Priyanka of encouraging a war against Pakistan by referring to Priyanka's tweet post the Balakot air strikes in which PC had hailed the Indian defence forces and written "Jai Hind #IndianArmedForces".

While the woman yelled at Priyanka, calling her a hypocrite, Priyanka remained calm as a cucumber and gave a dignified answer in return saying, "We're all here for love". Priyanka's calm demeanour and the way she handled the question was lauded by many on social media. 

Priyanka responded to her saying, "I have many, many friends from Pakistan and I am from India. War is not something I'm really fond of but I am patriotic, so I'm sorry if I hurt sentiments to people who do love me and have loved me. But I think that all of us have a, sort of, middle ground that we all have to walk. Just like you probably do as well. The way that you came at me right now... girl, don't yell. We're all here for love."

Now, the woman who had questioned Priyanka's role as UN Goodwill ambassador, has lashed out against Priyanka once again, this time on her Twitter page.

The Pakistani woman who goes by the name of Ayesha Malik and Twitter handle @Spishaa took to the micro blogging site on Sunday night and wrote, "Hi, I’m the girl that “yelled” at Priyanka Chopra. It was hard listening to her say, “we should be neighbors and love each other” — swing that advice over to your PM. Both India and Pakistan were in danger. And instead she tweeted out in favor for nuclear war."
